Kebab! Kebab! . . . A Persian Family Dining Experience CLOSED

Before the flurry of the new calendar days activity begins (or if you are just more organized than I am and have everything all sewn up), take a breather and relax.  While everyone were still classifying and reviewing their resolution list, I am still looking at all the unprocessed pictures and drafted blogs that has not been touched come 2012, but I am already looking at where the family will go to next.   Yes that includes the places away from home or just any restaurants or dining halls we haven't tried yet.

Relax?!?

Let's not talk about the Mayan calendar or if the world might end before 2013 or what's going to come this year, why don't we reminisce with how we lived through 2012.   Look back at some of the amusing things we did with our family or friends, relive the scene from the mesmerizing  pictures we took.  

In my case, remembering the first cuisine encounter of my kids, such as having one at a Mediterranean food joint.

Moutabal, an amalgamate of cooked eggplant with herbs and spices.  Great with pita breads.   I didn't know my kids would like it, it is already good with two orders of pita.

My plate, Shawarma Rice.  I'd always love it since I got to try it first at SM Hypermart, when I was still working at Teletech.  Theirs is just the same, except, the sauces are more tasty without the mordant aftertaste.

Chicken Kobideh.   One of  Kebab! Kebab!'s rice meal.   Stashed inside the buttered Biryani rice are two appetizing chicken skewers, served with two grilled plump tomatoes.

Two Angus Kobideh, it's Angus beef kebab underneath the buttered savory rice.   Serving was humungous.  
The little ones had Chicken BBQ, their version of Persian Chicken skewer and we also shared bites of their All-Beef Shawarma (first picture a top).  

My say for value is 5 out of 5.   The serving is so big, I even shared my plate with my youngest and I still went home tummy-filled.  Their set of meals ranges from P185 to P260, where meats are succulently tasty and not hard, complemented with unlimited serving of their garlic and spicy sauces.  Best for hungry hippos like these kids.

Though we don't find the ambiance well enough, so it's 2 out 5 for us, since it's regular diners go for drinks more so and unlikely to be bringing kids to dine here,  there was also a bad scent stocked upstairs.   We we're kinda uncomfortable with the squat-sitting on big smelly and drab cushions.   My kids at first were a bit eeky about the thought but with explanations and much intimidation they don't a have choice, hahaha, well, we told them that's how prince and princes at Persia sat.  However service is good, a 4 out 5, and the attendant were very attentive and we didn't actually wait long to have our dinner served though there were a lot of customers.   But the food was top-notch and there are more on the menu that we would try next time.   So do check them out...
