If my husband was a writer, he could have been writing this, but he's not, however, we have the same thoughts and feels for this particular staycation. I could have learned to read his mind, but his smiles, giggles, and initiatives speak for himself. After spending half of my life with him I can pretty tell whether he's disappointed or he's plain happy.

The Inner Boho Babe in Me was Unleashed at Momo Beach House
Do you believe in the saying that "Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow?"
That's the gypsy soul in me speaking up. Even though I have been a mom for like 21 years already, half of my entire life, for that matter, have this deep longing of casting off to some place, where you can be quiet and wild at the same time.
If you ask, "is there such a place?"
Well. there is! In fact, it had been the dream I have been envisioning for some years now, but I don't know where this at.

Turning Wilderness to Wonder at Amorita Resort
Have you ever seen the wonder
In the glimmer of first sight
As the eyes begin to open
And the blindness meets the light
If you have so say
I'm walking in the wonder
You're the wonder in the wild
Turning wilderness to wonder
from the song Wonder by Hillsong United
Upon reaching Amorita's lobby, one word came to my mind instantly, wonder.
Before I could tell you something about how I felt when I once again reconnected with the mesmerizing shores of Panglao, let me first say how glad I was to reach Amorita and to experience their warm services and the smiles of the hotel staff. Because there is really something about the welcoming smiles of Boholanos (which I have apparently inherited from my father's side).

Alona Beach, Night and Day
Thanks to AirAsiaPH and Amorita Resort, I was able to experience the little Boracay of Panglao, Bohol.
Bohol is our home away from home, as my father was born and raised here. And everytime we come to visit this province, a trip to Panglao is always a part of it. We would always go to Dumaluan beach and when we were endowed to go to a resort that's fine and dandy, we would go to Bluewater Resort Panglao.

Luxurious Villa-living at Espacio Verde Resort, Roxas City
On the third day of our Roxas-Carles exploration, we found respite.
I knew from the start that island-living may not be for my kids (I'm just a reluctant mom, always thinking of what's most comfortable for my babies). So, I needed to end this four-day tour with an anxiety-free stay, something to prep us from the flight back to Manila and then go back to our normal, too occupied lives.

Summer Activities for the Kids at Dewi Sri Farm and Resort + Juicing with Breville
Are you a parent looking for fun activities for the kids and the whole family this summer? You still have one month to enjoy these fun-filled activities I curated for you.
First of, let me just share how glad I was to share with fellow moms and their kids this farm in Laguna were you can actually invibe the tranquil farm life even for a day.
More than swimming in the pool, Dewi Sri Farm offers enjoyable activities that will divert them from their gadgets or digital games.
Remember how much fun it was to play jump ropes on the streets or climb trees and pick fruits? I miss those times, and those kinda times my kids have never experienced as a child. They grew playing games at home, with books and modern toys, and most of the times, they knew little of what it's like to plant their own vegetables or eat the chicken they have taken cared of.

A Not-so-Fortunate Day at Fortune Island, and Some Do's and Don'ts
This should have been entitled "The Best Backdrop for a Goddess-like Photo Shoot." But then again...
Taking a break from the electioneering hullabaloo, Bhogs and I decided to go away for a day! Go-away in the sense that we had to leave the kids (and the dogs) behind for a day and spend some "just the two of us" time.

Davao Day Two: Countryside Adventure at Malagos Garden Resort
What actually brought me here in Davao is the sought-after, world-class product, that is the single-origin chocolates made and advocated by the Puentispina's. They are the family name that made famous the tree to bar chocolate experience.
Malagos chocolate is created in high quality standard environment giving high regard to the areas where the cacao trees are being grown to.

Davao Day Two: Countryside Adventure at Eden Nature Park and Resort
There are so many things to love about Eden Nature Park and Resort. It's one great proof of how nature loves you back if you start respecting it. The owners of the huge land where Eden is boasts so much of what you can do to rearrange nature and plot it beneficial both to human/tourists and Mother Nature.
When you decide to visit Eden, make sure to plan wisely your day. Many attest that you need a full day to enjoy the whole eco-tour and adventures offered by Eden. Apparently, we only have half a day to do that.

Taken five ears ago with m kids at La Luz Beach, San Juan, Batangas |
Okay, well this blog isn't supposed to be an angst-ridden life, well there is still a fraction left for me to enjoy life just not yet at its finest, only the brink (*wink, wink), alone, with friends, and with m family. There are a lot (I mean tons and tons) of beach in every theme and nature which you can either drive to or with bus rides.

TRAVEL: God-Color Blue is Showcased in Antulang Beach Resort, Dumaguete
Beyond this thick-bushed and comfortly-shaded pathway leads to an overlooking wonder that promises to exhilarate your jaded lives.
Antulang Beach Resort
Last Sunday at New Life Center (The Fort), Pastor Mitch preached about bringing out God-colors in the world. As highlighted during the preach, this Bible verse aptly illustrates the inspirational message.
Matthew 5:14
The Message (MSG)
14-15 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!I believe exploring our country's grand resorts are great ways to enjoy and show the God colors in the world. The verse can apply to many things, but certainly the beauty of nature is one of them, more so those that are not discovered and seen by many, those that are tucked away to be found like a jewel in grains of sand.
The majestic beauty of the rainbow marvels the love bestowed upon by God to us, however, as much as I would want to discuss all these colors, I will touch only on color blue. Its meaning and significance, in how I see it in nature.
Philippines, being an archipelago of 7,107 islands is richly blessed with pristine beaches.
And one of the best that our family have unearthed is Negros Oriental's jem- Antulang Beach Resort.
See for yourself and be mesmerized...
Do you know why the sky and water blue?
Blue signifies hope and God's grace, oh so lavished upon us, His beloved. Why is it that whenever we are down-trodden or hurting we look at the sky? There we look for answers, we look for God. And somehow it gives us comfort and soothes our aching heart.
Blue speaks to us of the eternal presence of the Lord. It symbolizes the heavenly realm, prayer, authority, revealed God, divinity, over comer, revelation knowledge.
Here at Antulang, blue is everywhere!
Antulang is cradled atop a cliff facing Sulu Sea.
Antulang's location at the southern tip of the Negros Island is the perfect place for solace. They have a lighthouse as well and this makes the resort even more unique and special in that one can see both sunrise and sunset. Also, standing on the resort’s balcony at the middle and facing the sea on a clear day, Apo Island (on the left) and Dipolog (on the right) are both visible.
Here are my two kids preparing to snorkel and swim in the crystal clear water.
My cousins who are from Bayawan, Negros were having the time of their life catching the waves. They never knew of the place with this beauty exists.
The only resort that has a salt-water infinity pool. On the photo above is their kiddie pool, and my girls just loved every moment of that dip.
Waldo’s Bar offers meals and other beverages which may be enjoyed with an overlooking view of the seascape. This is where we had our lunch.
The entrance for a day-tour is only P 250 which is consumable for lunch meals. The day tour includes the use of the pools and exploring the whole resort.
There is something about plants, nature, all of the outdoors that reminds us that we are just a tiny dot in the universe and that we are all part of a greater plan, God's plan. Wherever you reside or travel to, take time to see, hear, and feel the gift of nature! And don't forget about the taste for the abundant food nature and the earth gives us!
