In celebration of Appetite’s 7th Anniversary this October, Appetite Magazine brings back the most delicious event of the year—the Appetite Restaurant Festival 2011! Together with Shangri-La Plaza and MasterCard, Appetite presented the launching last October 13 at the Atrium of Shangri La Plaza. The Festival is a unique dining experience where you can let your taste buds travel all over the world, all in one fabulous place. Foodies converged to indulge in international cuisines from different restaurants.
The stellar reputation of Appetite Magazine have magnificently carried out a launching that was grand to the point that I could almost go in food coma, even without having to sample all of it. Yep, it was too magnanimous for me to handle. I think I just had three rounds, with about just 5 of the different participants out of the 13.
Each restaurant's spot served as a fascinating vignette and all-together they weave the foodies through a world where eating is a spectacular matter, where common food is a thing of the past and where some Ginny (in a bottle) could have magically grant any dining pleasure. Let me clearly explain this to you in pictures.

Since 2004, Appetite Magazine has been giving its
readers the most delicious experience in making and sharing food. Packed with
easy, doable and excellent recipes, delectable dining stories and other unique
features, it continues to allow people to indulge in their passion for food.
The magazine pioneered their first restaurant festival in 2007 called The
Tasting Room to treat readers and fellow friends to special degustation menus,
inspired by food festivals in New York and London. This year’s Appetite
Restaurant Festival is better than ever, as the magazine celebrates a great
year with a new editorial board (headed by editor-in-chief Nina Daza-Puyat), a
Philippine Webby Award for their website and a nomination for Best
Family-Oriented Magazine by the Catholic Mass Media Awards. So many reasons to
celebrate, and so much Appetite menus to be enjoyed in the Appetite Restaurant
Festival.
From October 14 to November 30, 2011, participating
restaurants at Shangri-La Plaza will offer specially-created Appetite Menus
with an appetizer, entrées and dessert all for under P1000! Check out all the
appetizing and mouth-watering meals carefully put together by Café Provencal,
Claw Daddy, Cravings, Crustasia, Cyma, C2, Green Tomato, Lemongrass, Pages
Deli, Pepper Lunch, Pho Hoa, Secret Recipe and Sing Hainanese Chicken! Enjoy
your staple favorites and discover even more delightful dishes with flavors
from all over the world. Satisfy your craving for Western cuisine or Eastern
delights from the exciting range of restaurants in the Appetite Restaurant
Festival.
Diners can also avail of additional free treats in
C2, Claw Daddy, Green Tomato, Lemongrass, Pages Deli, Pho Hoa and Secret Recipe
by presenting a coupon from the November issue of Appetite Magazine when they
buy the Appetite Menu in those restaurants. Coupons will also be available at
the main entrances and at the concierge of Shangri-La Plaza. Enjoy free parking when you use your MasterCard to spend a
minimum of P1000 (including the Appetite Menu) in participating restaurants)!
With great deals like these, you’ll want to visit all the restaurants and try
the different menus.
Thanks to Kris Andres, and people behind this event, who made every efforts for me to enjoy this.
So, race you to Shangri-La Plaza for an unbelievable savings of gastronomic dining delectation.
