Nescafe Dolce Gusto: Toast of the Town

Morning is as normal as can be with our usual coffee fix from Nescafe.   Every time we buy our weekly groceries, 3 in 1 coffee sachets in packs are always on  top of our list.   This morning however seems beyond my habitual morning fare.   I guess if your one of my follower or somehow may have read some particular reviews on coffee shops and you know, out of this world coffee experiences, you may have an idea what I may be sounding out.   

Well I was at the Museum Cafe this morning, not to enjoy the cafe yet (which I did, somehow) but to get wind on what's this Dolce Gusto, a new product line from Nestle,  which was said to be launched.   

So let me give you a run down on the launch that was, said to be the latest and hottest buzz in Manila with the most stylish addition to the home or office that debuted at a recent launch where  Manila’s trendiest fashionistas and up-to-date techies converged to witness the arrival and introduction of the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto line of single-serve coffee machines and exclusive coffee capsules here in the country.

During the event, Museum Cafe provided us with these grubs made more exceptional  with cups of one of my favorite NDG variant, Chococino, a rich velvety hot chocolate made with the finest cocoa beans with a delicate layer of whole milk.

Caffe Lungo, full bodied coffee with a nice crema layer, which gives  out a fruity and roasty aroma.   Coffee 101, lungo is an italian word for long, so it is defined to be "stretched espresso."












Cappuccino,  shot of rich espresso topped with deliciously frothy sweet milk.  The capsules which carry the milk and the ground coffee, is perfect concoction already.  you don't need to add sugar, for it is carefully sweetened.   What so versatile with this style is that you can vary the strength of the coffee or the milk in the manner of setting the lever for making your cappuccino.




Mocha, merges the smooth dark taste of coffee with the rich flavor of chocolate.


And the last flavor for now is the Vanilla Latte Macchiato.   It was the first cup of coffee that I was able to try from the event, and may I say that it was extremely addicting and seeing how easy it was prepared, no fuss, no mess, all wonderful cup of dandy coffee.  BTW,  It was the picture on top of this post.
