Have a Pampering Day at Diana Stalder

     I've been to a fairly amount of stress lately, and I kept noticing my skin becoming dull and having those dark circles under my eyes.  I'm not much into wearing make-ups or having my hairs done or salon-cared due to the many household chores and business-related errands I do on a daily basis.    What I am really concerned of is  how to maintain a fair, clean and unblemished skin.   You see the skin is the largest and most visible organ in the body so it tends to register stress fairly quickly.   If your skin tends to be dry, stress makes it drier and if you are inclined to spots, stress will bring them out. For instance, under stress the body produces adrenaline, a hormone that can upset the balance of other hormones in the body, making acne worse and also causing flushes.   That is also another reason why I have to take pills (yes it is not only for birth control).

     Also, long-term stress slows down the production of collagen and elastin fibres which give the skin its elasticity, resulting in sagging. In younger women the skin retains the ability to bounce back, but the healing process slows with age and, after 40, the effects of stress can be permanent

There are a lot of ways to actually beat off stress, though I'm not going to discuss them here, but I will focus majorly on one thing that really helped me , going to facial centers and have that ultimate facial de-stressing pampering time.  

It was a blessing having to try out Diana Stalder Face and, Body and Skin Care Center at Araneta Center, Cubao.   

With my first experience with them, they had me try the Casmara Spanish Facial with the sensitive Mask 2040.  Casmara Nacar Professional Whitening Facial is a  unisex treatment for any skin type and age.  It uses Casmara Nature Ampoules after the 15 steps process.   It is to  illuminate and unify  the skin color.  That is why it is recommended for uneven and pigmented skin.

Why have they recommended this treatment?  For one it regulates natural metabolism of skin cells.  

It reactivates natural repair and protection of DNA, with the gentle  peeling  and exfoliation of the  outer layer of the skin.  Thus inhibiting melanocyte activity. 

After the feel-good facial is the relaxing 20-minute  Casmara Facial Mask.   A quick escape from the usual day of a mom.   I think they have a total of 10 different Facial masks that is suited for a specific skin needs.

What I had is the pink mask for sensitive skin.  The yummy-smelling gelatinous mask is cold when applied to the skin.   It had oats that soothes the facial muscles more and also contains sea weed violet extract and natural vitamins A, B and E.  (Will update this post with pictures from that experience).

After peeling off of the hardened mask, a moisturizer with sun-block was applied and what a refreshing feeling that was!  The staff who did the facial even had me take home the mask.  She said it could still be used, though the other side, the one that is shiny is the one to be used.

It really was worth recommending!

The staff told me that they had some of their branches renovated in tune for the fresh new look of their logo.   one of the first branches who had the make-over is the one in Ayala.   I told myself, this won't be the last time I will be visiting Diana Stalder.   Will definitely make it a monthly habit.

So for the second time,  after a month-long of no me-time and mom's day-off,    I succumbed to my inner-need of relaxation and skin-rejuvenation time and decided to head to Diana Stalder's Ayala branch.

Upon entry what you will instantly recognize is the signature scent that was aromatically-designed for all the Diana Stalder Facial, Bony and Skin Centers.   You'll instantly feel a homey and restful environment.

The product lines were all displayed in functional shelves which you can check for yourself.

I was then escorted to a room big enough for couples or two clients.  That time Miss Ethel was assigned to do my face.  This warm and accommodating lady  is actually a Nursing grad who apparently landed at their center.    Having knew this, I realized that BCP, the company that holds Diana Stalder and its sister company Dermablend is keen on the employees they get.  

Having known from my previous encounter with Miss Dina Stalder, the CEO of  BCP, how amiable and humble she is, I asked Miss Ethel, how she is as a boss.   And as expected she answered promptly with these, "mabait naman po si Maam Dina, ang ganda nga po ng story niya 'di ba, nakakainspire."

I wanted to know how consistent their service is also, meaning, if I  had given the good quality service with my first visit, I would expect the same here.   According to Miss Ethel, they are trained well for three months or longer until they can do all the process perfectly, and that will be the gauge if they can do the services to the clients.

Miss Ethel guided me through the process, explaining what is being done and why.   She even asked me how I clean my face, and have suggested several techniques on how to apply the products I use on my face.   Knowledgeable as she is with Diana Stalder products, she explained to me what the Skin Revitalizer does and how it acts to give me finer and smoother skin.  I will testify and put a blog about the products of Diana Stalder's and Dermablend that I am actually using in the future.

You may ask me, why should we have facials?   Well I suggest we all do,  I have even had y teenage son do it with us in some instance.    Through exfoliation, deep-cleaning of the pores, stimulating improved circulation, and use of professional-strength products, your aesthetician can make a lot of progress towards improving your skin in a single session.    Having the experience, techniques, products and equipment that cannot be replicated at home only at P700 Php.

To be honest I've never been to a gym, or have attended any aerobics or exercise class before, but I have tried different facial facilities but Diana Stalder definitely changes my perspective in having a stronger belief on how I should take care of myself starting with my face, after all isn't it that the face illuminates our whole being.   If your face shows a clearer, whiter and blemish-free skin it just tells everyone you are fine also inside, a personality that exudes clean, healthy lifestyle and well-being.

Indeed, after more than an hour of facial skin pampering, I am now ready to face new challenges. and determined to be a better me.
