Jin Joo Korean Grill at SM Aura Premier

When I was invited to try out Rack Shack at it's newest branch in SM Aura, I saw this peachy Korean restaurant and I thought it's  a total embodiment of K-Dramas.

My girls had influenced me into watching K-Dramas and well, I also got caught in this Korean wave and let me just say, binge-watching the series I'm following had been worth it.

I love how they made the shows clean, sweet and warm fuzzy. They represent a society that is developed and progressive and yet so strongly rooted in its culture. The stories are heartfelt and emotional with others having a touch of science and sometimes fiction.  The sweetness and simplicity of these serials are seriously wonderful and I love how the characters show their love for their own culinary.

Watching these K-Dramas made our household crave for their food and drool over some scenes where they would revel in oodles of subsistence.

Thus, when I passed by Jin Joo, I promised myself to bring my two K-Pop fanatics here.  But it seemed that my husband read my mind and made the promise true himself and brought us there.

Ever since I tried Samgyeopsal at Gangnam Style Korean Restaurant, I loved it and I couldn't get enough of it.

At Jin Joo, you can also have that grilling experience and more.  Also, learned about many other Korean Barbeque, though, it may be hard to choose which ones to grill, they have star indication which may mean as their best-sellers.  So aside from Samgyeopsal (P 390) we also got Galbi Bon Sal (P 950), which are beef boneless short ribs.

Unlimited banchan is served at your table and so as fresh iceberg lettuce for the barbeque.

My bae, or is it baes?

We all got crazy with the tender beef and we wanted some hot soup with it too, so we ordered Bulgogi Jeunggol (P 950), a hotpot of glass noodles, sukiyaki, mushrooms and veggies.  This one was really satisfying to watch being cooked and consumed.  I love the semi-sweet beefy broth.  This serves up to three so heftily.

Aside from the kitschy, eye-candy look of Jin Joo which made diners swooning over and undenied of the long waiting lines during meal hours, one thing worth noting off is how the servers were.  The staff that waited on us was very polite and efficient.  But we actually waited a long time for the bill.  But the whole experience was quite memorable and we'd sure want to come back.
