RackShack, Racks for the Millenials

With (from left) Tina of Tinavilla.com and Michelle of  ww.r0ckstarm0mma.com

Who loves Racks? Now's the time to raise your hands.

We have loved Racks for years, it's undeniable, and I'm sure for Racks-lovers like me will get thrilled now that they have brought to life a new resto concept suited for today's vibe - Rackshack.

SM Aura Premier is now home to Rackshack's second branch and it welcomes fun and hip diners specifically the millenials, but with the expereince I had with them made me think that even the whole member of the family can also join in and get to savor some #FiredUpBBQ.

Some key features you will definitely get to delight with are:

1.  The concept, though new, have the soul of Racks, as it carries some original dishes given modern kitchen twists.  They even made their original sauce (known here as the Mother Sauce) as a mainstay and plays a major part in delighting us foodies.

2. Choose your sauce or mix them up.

Each table, the communal kind (parnered with a long wooden bench), is embellished with pharma bottles filled with different kinds of sauces, all-original from Racks.

The sauces include, the Mother Sauce - Rackshack's signature blend, subtle, sweet and goes with everything; Spicy Mother Sauce - the spicy version of the latter; Carolina Gold- has a hint of mustard giving that blend of sweet and tang; Kansas Sauce - another sweet and spicy blend with a fruity hint; Hoisin sauce is the Asian taste with a spicy hint as well.

3.  Free use of board games, while you wait for your order.

Though they won't let you wait more than the usual order time for your food, they had thought of the cleverest ways to set the mood for eating and for socializing.

3. Cool ways of highlighting that barbecues  are not only satisfying, they are fun to eat too and to share among freinds.

Go ahead, dig in and use your damn hands while you're at it.  Here, no one will judge you, instead you'll be acknowledged and encouraged through the quotes written on certain part of the walls.

4. Rackshack provides straight-up awesome barbecue in an all-new concept unlike any other.

They have developed a three-pronged process of building your own meal.

First, you choose your meats.
Second, choose your sides.
Third, choose your sauce.

Rackshack, don't dictate (but they do suggest) which goes with which, you get to choose what you want to be included in your tray.  Your choices are set in a rectangular wooden tray and no rule applies in how you want to enjoy your meal.

At Rackshack you don't just come for barbeque pork ribs, so they say, well, the menu very much covers the typical millenial cravings.  The menu is divided in three categories, namely, Start Here for the appetizers and salad; Main Attraction, for the mains, such as Ribs, Pulled Pork, Sausage (Texas Hot link) and Fried Chicken; lastly Cap it Off which covers the dessert and
beverages.
