Yankee Candle Now in Manila

What a "scent-sational" news I have for you, America's favorite brand of premium candle is now in Manila.  It's store is such a haven for pure love of scents.  Once you get inside, you'll definitely forget your worries outside the door, every corner offers a different aroma that will leave you either feeling right at-home or nostalgic.

It was such a blessing that I was one of the few ones who have first stepped in at the very first Yankee Candle in the Philippines.  It is located at the beautiful little Italy in Taguig, Venice Grand Canal Mall.  On their first day of operation, Gracie Mullion of FabMama.net checked it out.  With my youngest daughter as giddy as I was, we breezed along the iconic canal and through TGI Fridays it was right beside Cafe Mary Grace which was still being decorated.

As we entered the mall, my Danica, in an all-excited tone said "Mommy, Yankee Candle is already opened!"

I said,"I know, that's where, we're going."

"Really!" As Danica had said.  Then I suddenly wondered why she even knew it.  I guess with her exposure on You Tubers and with the Vloggers she had been following in the social media world she might have heard about it, but didn't really know if it was available in Manila.

"Shame on you, Mommy," as my daughter exasperated as we made our way to the store.

Nope it wasn't the smell of a brand new place that would entice me, which usually does, it was the scent of summer, spring, winter and yep, fall, stockpiled to everyone's' pleasure of drawing in.

In so much awe, it was crazy, as I didn't know where to start, either taking a shot or even smelling, gosh, I didn't even know what to do first.

The excitement was broken when Gracie introduced me to Margareth Rose Sanchez, the chief operating officer of Perfect Serenity Bliss Inc.(the exclusive distributor of Yankee Candles in the country).  This young mom-preneur, would give you such surprise as she knows a lot about candles as normal candle-maker does.  It was her love for scented candles that made her push this idea come to life.

Yankee Candle is more than just a candle, it has been a lifestyle crafted from a very heart-warming story of its inventor.  It is also about everyone's fragrance experience.  It had crossed the religious border, from the meaning of an Advent candle, to be being a sign of hope, peace, love and joy. Though the meaning still holds true, every time a Yankee Candle is lit, good thoughts come in, your home becomes a sanctuary where bliss can exist and ahhh, you can just smell it and just sit and relax.

Yankee Candle has become the #1 most-recognized name in the candle business and the US' best-selling candle brand with the banner "passion for fragrance" in every product they bring to market

With over 150 fragrances, the store offer the world's largest and most compelling selection of candle and home fragrance scents. In addition to the renowned line of scented candles, they also provide a wide range of seasonal and specialty scented candles, home fragrance products, car fresheners and candle accessories.

The majority of the candles are made by master chandlers (candlemakers) in their advanced manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts. They sell the candles and other products through a growing nationwide base of over 500 company-owned retail stores.

Every jar of these candles can either send you back to the good ole times, like how your grandma's cologne smelled like, or how a scent of freshly blown lavender on the valley is.  Gosh some jars would even have a scent of freshly washed linen, and your baby's baby powder, or your favorite Strawberry Shortcake doll.

If you missed being in the pine woods, or beside the beach, just open a jar of Yankee Candle and walah!

There's a scent perfect for everyone's character or need.

For the foodies-at-heart, these scents would be a great gift idea.

Candle varieties can either fall under certain categories, food, herbs, floral, festive, fruity, seasons and so much more...

Yankee Candle dominates the candle market in the US and in some parts of Asia, now it's here in Manila.

Candles comes in jars in three different sizes.

Also in glass pillars in two sizes.

Aside from candles, the scents can also come in fragrance spheres as odor neutralizer, in car scents, reed diffusers, and melts.

I was able to go home with White Tea, it's like Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea, only soothing.

BTW!  When you buy a large (625 g) jar you get a FREE 49 g. candle and car jar.

Also, when you buy 5 large jars, you get one FREE!

Oh dear, I think I found an addiction and they gained a collector in us, me and my youngest daughter.

Thanks for bringing Yankee Candle in the Philippines.  Do make sure to follow them in Facebook at Yankee Candle Philippines.
