This place is just legendary. They claim and many would testify that this burger joint had been Marikenyo's go to snack joint, specially if it's burger they crave for.
A stone's throw away from Marikina Shoe Museum, and a short pace from Rustic Mornings by Isabelo, it's the next best thing to do after going to the Shoe Museum.
Even from the outside, you'll know you'll be transported to the era that was. It was like Mike and Frank of the American Pickers's soul suddenly possessed us- me and Bhogs, and we got all thrilled to check out the collection.
From memorabilia, really old photos of celebrities, old car plates (some from the US), Coca-cola collectibles, vintage sign ages and more...
Quite fascinating, yeah?
Though, sad to say, service isn't that good, and the food is so-so.
Introducing, their Clubhouse Sandwich (P 130).
Mine was the Chicken Sandwich. I found the bun really bland and the chicken breast a bit hard, it also lacked the flavor I'm expecting in fried chicken breasts. Perhaps they could improve on that.
Though this is a coffee house, we didn't bother ordering a coffee.
So the place, though small is somehow a feast only for the eyes!
