A Cheerful 36th Anniversary Celebration Unfolds at Century Park Hotel

Ber-months are getting more exciting as Century Park Hotel ushered in September while sounding off their 36 years of success in the hospitality business with an array of special treats in its restaurants, beverage outlets and room accommodation.
Starting September 1 till the end of the month, a 36 % discount from the buffet at Cafe in the Park. From P1,475 regular buffet lunch and dinner it is now down to P944 net.  Get indulged with the great variety of Filipino and international cuisine that is all-you-can-eat.

Everything here is a feast for the eyes and palate.

On the end of the room, an open kitchen will entice you more not only with the aroma that surround the cafe, but more so seeing how passionate the chefs are with their craft.
Let me titillate your hunger pangs and invite you to come and try out for yourself what Cafe at the Park offers through the collage of pictures I got from the last time I was there, this is not the first time I tried their buffet though and let me tell you, I just love coming here.
An isle full of rich bounty such as a vast choice of salads, vegetable dishes, delis, sushi and sashimi and more.

Look how impressive their vegetable and fruit carvings are, adorning ham and cold cuts section.

Just a few of the desserts they offer.
After the sumptuous lunch, the new
Without a bit interruption of our lunch, Eric Beza, the hotel's PR Assistant introduced the new Executive Chef, Chef Ritchie Loteria.   Considered as a top caliber chef who had weighty list of background.   He was awarded and rated 2 Michelin star chef during his stint at Hotel Exedra in Rome, Italy.  Prestigious restaurants and hotels up his toque are Ponte Fino of Chateu 1771 Group of Restaurants, Shangri La Hotel Boracay, Aria Cucina Italiano, Rustan's Supercenter, Vikings, Hotel Celeste, Centara Hotels and Restaurants, Grappa and The Establishment at The Fort.
My new favorite pasta, certainly not to be scoffed at, Pasta Alla Nursina (Pasta with Black Truffle Sauce).  I could never think of a better way to show off his Italian background than this.  The pasta was enveloped with in the rich woodsy aroma and flavor of black truffles.
Roast Beef topped with stir-fried vegetables with the herbed thick sauce.
Risotto Al Funghi Porcini is another dish you should watch out for during Wednesday buffet.  Another famous Italian dish where rice is cooked in broth to a creamy consistency.  Here Chef Ricky as what he is called used Porcini, one valuable and gourmet pick that can only be bought in Italy.  Porcini mushrooms are a famous, and delicious, addition in Italian cuisine. Due to their strong nutty flavor, this is an incredibly popular gourmet mushroom.
Delectable Skewers.   Not so Italian but Chef making a signature statement here that he loves grilled food.
Roasted Chicken done the Italian way.   Marinated in rosemary oil, this gives out an equally relaxing and enticing addition to your meat choices.
This one should not be missed!  Baked Apple Panna Cota.
New York Cheesecake is another on their Deli shop that's a class of its own.
Talking about Italian Wednesday buffet.  Everyday is a change of atmosphere in the kitchen and cafe, as they  vary the cuisine for each day.  On Monday is Chinoy Cuisine, a fusion of fave Filipino and Chinese dishes.  Tuesday is Modern Filipino Cuisine, with items to look out for are Corned Beef Sinigang.   On Wednesday as I mentioned, is Tutto Italiano.  While Thurday opens to Asian Classic's and Friday's International Inspired Cuisine.   Be there on Saturdays to delight on Chef's Tavern Buffet, where Century Parks chef give out their favorite specialty.  Lastly, family day wouldn't be the same with the Classic Filipino Cuisine.

Here are more treats for the foodies, from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday, the cafe offers Merienda Special of unlimited choice of guinataan halo-halo and arroz caldo.   For the pancitc anton, be treated with the on the spot cooking with one of the chefs.  All this plus coffee or tea of your choice for only P336 net per person.
