PLE's Project Purple with Back to School Project at LJBC

Someone once said  , "God Prospers Us Not to Raise Our Standard of Living, but Our Standard of Giving."  And I fervently believe in it.   It is evident that not all of us were born in the same situation and rather odd that we have the thought that all men were created equal.  I'm sure with that many would negate and would probably raise an immediate question.  Most of us work hard for a living even just  for food yet some spend money like there's no tomorrow.    The country have just managed to rise above the impeachment trial of ex-Chief Justice Corona, where big amounts of money have been questioned to just one person  in amount as big as millions of pesos, dollars even, while most of the Filipino citizens would fight for a thousand bill.   What saddens me the most are the part of the citizenry where money seemed  be not so much an issue with them but whom where it is needed the most- the children.
So how is this related to giving and how the Lord prospers each one?
If you still haven't realized, the Lord pours out mercy upon mercy, blessing each in accordance to his needs.   But why are there people with less blessing?  That I wouldn't want to comment upon, but I know this I am blessed to be a giving and so are my friends...
School will be officially opened by tomorrow as per DepEd's announcement.   A lot of issues are still being summoned to concerning our education system, and also there are other parents who are not yet prepared for the 2012-2013 school opening.   In a slight response to the need, Purple Lines Events have set an amount which will be spent for giving some school items to Lord Jesus Bible Church Children's Ministrry.
Purple Lines Events is a company that offers services  on  weddings and events  planning and coordinating.   As part of their generosity and building up the Project Purple, they partnered with LJBC Sunday School teachers to give school supplies to 50 kids.
Basic and simple materials, like bags, notebooks, pens and pencils, sharpener, erasers and more were all given to each sponsored child.
Children in the church were all so excited when the news was announced, more so when they saw the items which were to be given away.    Prior to the Back to School Gift Giving, the children were thought about God's words and more on Christianly-giving.  A simple snack were also provided by Purple Lines Events and other activities  such as arts and crafts and games where also included in the half-day event.

School supplies were given by Pastor Rose Sadogio and assisted by Teacher Joy Felizardo, Head of LJBC, Makati Children's Ministry.
In behalf of LJBC and the children, we highly appreciate the kindness of Ms. Grace Ko, the CEO of Purple Lines Events and their clients for these.  May the blessing fly back to you and multiply!

Luke 6:38“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
