Almost A Food Blog

This article may seem to be a foodie's post, but not quite.  However, I can't disregard my anticipation in sharing one of the good finds I had attending Expo's, foodie events and the likes.  In my best effort to show my friend how happy I am for her, now that she is about to be wed with God's best for her.  I ordered a box of  Kashi Makis at My Pink Wasabi.   I met Chef Anna, the owner of My Pink Wasabi, at Glorietta 5 to pick up my order.   It was a quick meet and greet.   She is so kind enough to come to Makati coming from E. Rodriguez, Q.C., and even waived the transport fee.   Well, when I saw the makis, I said to myself, this is perfect.  I hope I could try at least one at the party, but alas, everyone got so rummy when they saw the colorful and oh so attractive dish, specially when I told them those are for dessert...
Reggie and Gigi, the couple who will be tying the knot on April 16,2011.
I've been invited to a lot of weddings, only a few bridal showers though and this is my husband's first stag party.   The bridal shower party, pj (pajama) inspired was organized by Gigi's friends and was hosted by  J-mie Cabalonga.  To also make the party more fun, I was asked to buy condoms (Yayx!), not two nor three but fifteen pieces.   Would anyone guess if I did it or not?  I hope you guessed yes, 'coz I did!   Wahhh!  I never bought any condoms yet...that's it!   I was given two days to plan how I can bring that many condoms for the party.  It was really so embarrassing but quite an experience.
The party was so much fun!  We laughed our hearts out as we sported every game and finished it with ached stomach.   We were at a room upstairs and we really created a racket, beating the guys downstairs with their own gigs.   It was wholesome (ows?!) and not demoralising.   Gigi donned her sexiest lingerie yet, got really shocked with the things we did and advised her and hopefully got more excited on the wedding day and night.
My contribution to a dinner that's worth remembering, hmm, actually to a bridal shower party that is.

Friends from Lord Jesus Bible Church, GM, the ladies.
The men
Everybody who joined the shower party and stag party.
We went home with our tummies gastronomically full, our hearts full of love and spirits high as we bring honor to God for we know all good and precious things come from God!  He, amongst all power binds with His love His precious children to honor one another in a  God-fearing, Christ-centered Christian marriage.  Can't wait for another wedding celebration.
