After Sunset at Las Casas

Sometimes the beauty of the place shine out the most when the sun goes down.
After my blog about Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, I still couldn't contain my wonder about the place.  My finger is just so  itchy in snapping away the camera's button, hoping not to leave any darling moments uncaptured.
The views from the Lola Basyang bridge are breathtaking at sunset but there are plenty of places for you to set up camp along the beach. Make sure you pack a blanket to snuggle up with as the night draws in.
As the sun goes down, slowly the lights flicker up, as they make up a majestic backdrop for a cultural show.

While gazing from time to time at the heritage houses lighted inside showing what seems to be hidden from daylight sight.
Then realizing how rich our arts and culture is from our songs, dance and even poems.
With innovations adapted from other culture adopted to be our own and have cultivated, like the jeepneys.   Yes the jeepney, our transport to a night of romantic dinner.
To step onto the halls of the La Bella Teodora (Italian Restaurant) is to step back in time to the grand era of our national heroes like Jose Rizal.
You can either dine for two...
Or dine with the whole crew...
More importantly, your breads are freshly baked on a traditional "pugon" oven.
From flat bread, to buns, to sticks...

Then to salad Greens...Insalata Greca that is, a plate of assorted lettuce, crumbled feta cheese, green and black olives and sundries tomatoes.
My comfort food!  Tortellini de Acuzar.  Home-made Tortellini stuffed with minced chicken and basil, bathed in a warm aromatic, herb-infused tomato sauce.
Drawn to this more and more...
Just one rule, take a bite into time with your loved one (or loved ones)!
La Bella Teodora Italian Restaurant is inside Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, Bagac Bataan.  Situated at the far end of the resort, but a horse-drawn carriage or a jeepney can take you there, else brave the dark, cobble-stoned streets, lest it creeps you out.
