Saboten Express With the MommyBFFs

Saboten, purveyor of the world's favorite pork cutlet has gotten affordable. This is just the perfect news for North-based foodies as they have branched out in MegaFashion Food Hall, in SM Megamall.

When I heard the news, I made it a point to check it out.  As we all have known, Saboten is a world-class brand serving the Tokyo-famed pork Katsu, which have a branch in G/F Serendra, Bonifacio Global City and G/F Glorietta 5.

This time they have opened in favor or SM Megamall goers and made the brand more affordalicious! 

This was definitely something I'd store in my fun mommy-lakwatsa memory bank, as I had a wonder meal  with the famous mommy-group in Instagram.

Meet Mommy BFF's.

Mommy BFF's are composed of moms dedicated to share their expertise in their own crafts while sharing their moments as moms. This group has four members, all professionals and blogs as well.  They actually met in events and eventually became best friends forever..

Make sure to follow them in IG and they organize mommy-baby meet  ups and playdates that somehow pushes to advocate kindness and love for other members of the society.

However in the photo above, only two of the group was able to join us, but we were still blessed to have Pritzi Arce.

Now going back to being #Tonkatsufied...

The same Katsu made with Japan-quality but made more affordable.  What's great about their new location is that while you load up of their best-sellers, you also have other options of food and drinks  from other establishments.  But why would you order from other stalls when your Saboten Express meal package can last you till dinner.  

Seriously, I had Miso Katsu meal package for lunch and I didn't go hungry till the next morning.

I love how it's graciously topped with spring onions.  I love how the soft and juice Katsudon is laid on top of shredded cabbages and smothered in thick, tangy and sweet Miso sauce.  The huge bowl was also filled with rice.  you get your first-class protein (with a little fat, which actually gives the flavor) plus the vegetables you need to count as a healthy meal.  This package is also served with pickles, soup and your choice of iced tea.

See I don't think you'd ask for anything else anymore, one luscious-good meal in one place.
