It was a crazy, FUN day at Krispy Kreme at the last Saturday of February, as its BGC branch was made into a playground were kids and parents mingled over cups of aromatic brewed coffee and doughnuts.
I came with my youngest daughter, Danica and like the other guests we ate loads of sweets from Krispy Kreme. It was particularly interesting as they've launched their Krispy Minis.
Krispy Minis are doughnut holes from our favorite classic doughnut varieties. These are perfect easy bite-sized munchies you can eat everywhere, even your kids can eat to their hearts' content.
BGC's branch was transformed into every child's delightful event place and the organizers made sure every kid comes out of the joint happy.
The wonderland of a cafe has stations where they can either exercise patience, balance, creativity and social skills.
First table to perform at is tossing donuts rods, it wasn't all about accuracy, it was for mere fun.
The balancing act is next, where kids can stack cups either making a pyramid or a building out of them.
If the paper cup were easy, how about stacking empty cartons of donuts and setting them up as high as one can reach.
But, what the kids and mommies spent most of their time with, while of course indulging on doughnuts and coffee and chit-chatting is decorating doughnut plushies or crown or headbands.
The air got more exciting when Alice and the Mad-Hatter, characters of Alice in Wonderland came.
This sure was a great mom-daughter bonding for us and topping it off with the last activity - doughnut factory tour right inside their shop.
Here, the kids were given a short tour and doughnut-making info and like what they said, once the red Krispy Kreme logo is on, freshly-made doughnut is up for grabs inside!
My daughter's reaction totally capped off this event.
Before going home, we were able have a picture with the characters.
Thanks so much Krispy Kreme and Gamechangers for pulling of a wonderful afternoon for us and for all the treats we got to enjoy.
If you feel, that you have missed this event, be sure to follow @KrsipykremePH in Instagram and Facebook. They have rounded up a whole lot more of activities for kids this summer.
Krispy Kreme fills your gloomy days with original glazed doughnuts, crueler and uniquely flavored doughnuts and perks you up a freshly brewed coffee.
The spacious cafe seats up to 100 and is a good co-working space for their free WiFi. The staff friendly and accommodates fondly.
