Hats off to SM for setting up yet another destination for outdoor sports and lifestyle events. Sands at SM by the BAY was launched last October 29, and partnered with top brands such as Roxy, Mikasa, Quicksilver, Oceana, The Lab Gastropub, and The RoadHouse Manila Bay. Guests on the said event came in with their summer outfits.
Dubbed as the first and only multipurpose outdoor sand court for outdoor-themed activities. Sands’s beach court measures about 28 x 18 meters, a pretty ideal venue for outdoor sports like beach volleyball, frisbee, and beach tennis.
The weather was a bit under the sun but these guys made the summer vibe with their groovy beats.
The ceremonial toss given by an SM officer with Rachel Ann Daquis, a former DLSU Lady Spiker, now Super Liga Pro player.
A beach volleyball exhibition game was presented by The Neon Team, composed of Rachel Ann Daquis and Aileen Abuel, plays against the Black Team, composed of Melissa Gohing and Michelle Datuin.
Open for private bookings, corporate and sport-related functions, Sands is located at the north area of SM by the BAY grounds.
