Memory Lane: Just a Photo-Memory

On our way to Wingate Manor, Tagaytay for a night-stay for our 18th anniversary celebration (with the kids), my girls saw this captivating light blue country house with a wide front garden.  The next day while looking for a place to eat before going home we stopped by and take a closer look.
I remembered when we used to live in Dasmarinas, Cavite, there is this one particular American-style country house, painted in moss to light green that I love seeing whenever we pass by the Malagasang Road.  Every time we did pass by, I would always tell my husband, that if we will be blessed to build our own house, I want it like that.  A house built in sturdy wood planks, painted in muted hues but not mimicking the garden, as if it would still stand out a midst the verdant and full-blossomed garden.
Like in the States, I would want to have a wedding in the garden where the house like that is situated (if not on the beach that is).
Sorry about that quick walk down the memory lane, anyways, going back to Memory Lane, we got a bit disappointed, my kids would want to have lunch there but we decided not to for some reasons.
Apparently, these are just the photos we got. If you want to know where we head for lunch, well, we cruised down Silang Road going to Nuvali, and ended up in the miniature Las Casas de Filipinas de Acuzar.
Thank God we found Rekados!  It is now our new go-to place for Bulalo and you also get to feast on a buffet that's not going to break your budget.
