A New METRO to Discover in Alabang

I was one of the lucky guest who enjoyed the launching and seeing first-hand the fresh offerings of Metro Alabang.  My family and I are regulars at Metro Market! Market!   We enjoy facilities such as big fitting rooms were you can also lounge.  Wide shopping areas, organized cashiers and great unique finds for what ever needs we might have.   The same services are being implemented in the newest Metro store  but a wider array of quality merchandise coming from every part of the world and more interesting finds can be found here.
Metro  also boasts of the section called "Treasures of Cebu" featuring local yet one-of-a-kind accessories with export quality, by Avatar (Gil Carungay and Artizans), Binibini, and Tribal Crafts International.

For a more pleasurable shopping experience, Managing director for Metro Supermarket's Eric Poiret applies his broad experience from Supermarket chains in Europe and the the Middle East.   Imagine, 12,000 local products and 4,000 directly imported items, one can say, what else would you look for that's not in Metro supermarket?   Even a HORECA (Hotel, Restuarant, Catering) section is being maintained fairly.

How about a 'Taste of Europe' over a great cup of coffee, while your filling your grocery cart?  A wide selection of gourmet food-from the 180 cheeses and deli items to 200 different dine-in or take out choices, Metro Gourmet Deli and Coffee Shop would be a delight to diners with intimidating palate.   For the foodies who deserve something quite out of the ordinary, here is where you can find the real Foie Gras Au Torchon Mi-Cuit (delicately-cooked, wrapped in cloth).

Here is a bakeshop one must have a try at, for a professional baker from France was commissioned to develop each products meticulously prepared to suit one's taste.   Damien Deslandes is the Frenchman behind the delectable bread and pastry section, named Suisse Cottage.

Metro, a relative of the Gaisano Malls also hailed from Cebu and Davao, really brought pieces of Cebu here in Alabang.   Honest to goodness Cebu Lechon, enjoyed with 'puso' a rice packed in native pocket of coconut leaves, not to mention an array of Cebu delicacies as well.

A Pharmacy and Wine and Liquor shop is also in the basement.  If you happen to go hungry even before shopping are after, food establishments are just a few steps away.   Sbarro, Serenitea, Go Nuts Donuts and Starbucks are just some of the available.
