Kape Pilato Bistro Cafe Via Quick Delivery

When I was in college, I remembered having to live with daily deliveries and canned good dinners.   However, not a handful of fast-food chains have this service yet.   So pizzas have always been a staple food for me, my sister and my brother.   It was only the three of us in the house since my parents worked in Milan and we didn't have anyone to cook for us.
Since then life has changed, I thought it would be easier, with meals prepared in a flash like how we see it in TV and grocery stores everywhere.    Now that I am a mom, cooking for four is somehow challenging.   Add to it, handling a business, working as a part time event coordinator and tons of write-up to finish.   Well if you frequently read my posts, you might see that I do enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, but a day does not start and end in the kitchen, as much as I would hope for.   Cramming have been a trait ever since I have accepted more jobs to do.
In times that I could not cook, a husband who does can come in handy.   But of course he also have tons to do.   Good thing there is a very reliable delivery service that works like just a fairy god-mother.   Thank you Quick Delivery.
Quick Delivery provides exclusive delivery services to over 270 restaurants in over 300 locations throughout the country.   Their clients include award winning restaurants and international brands such as TGIF, CPK, Italiannis, Tony Roma’s, Mrs. Fields, Oliver’s Sandwiches, Hagen Daaz, Subway and many more.   You'll be surprised how vast their roster is.
So to highlight my first order with Quick Delivery, I tried ordering at Kape Pilato, which is in Malate.   We were there last week, arrived late so to set aside our dismay of not being able to use our voucher, we tried calling for a delivery.
Ordering was a breeze.  We just dialed 2121212.  Who doesn't have a phone?  Well if you don't, you might have a pc, so an option of checking  their website instead to place your order, however you may need to register first at the website.
My call was entertained with courtesy and utmost regard to my need.  Since I ordered viands for our dinner, she asked me if I would like to have it in microwavable containers, with a P10 fee each, but I didn't bother.   Also, she explained that since my address was far outside the restaurant's coverage area, a fee of P150 will be charged.  She reviewed my orders and gave me the time she placed the pickup time which is 6:45 pm, and told me in 60 to 90 minutes, my purchase will  arrive.   While waiting, a call came regarding one of my order, Grilled T-Bone Steak, asking me if how I want it cooked.   That's a plus point for them, I do want my steak cooked the way I want it.
The Quick Delivery motorcycle came 7:45 pm, that is an hour from the time the lady on the other phone placed my order.   Wrapped in a white plastic all-together, the package seemed to be still a bit hot.   So I told my daughter, we didn't have to re-heat them anymore.
Here are what we ordered from Kape Pilato Bistro Caffe.
Chicken Fingers, P189.00
My kids requested for these.   I didn't know what to expect really fro my orders and guess I was surprised seeing nicely cooked French Fries and buttered veggies.  This came with a creamy garlic dip.   The chicken fillets are lightly dusted with seasonings and are soft without being oily or juicy.
Roulade of Cream Dory, P284.00

Battered and fried fillets of Cream Dory are topped on a bed of pasta and smotheredgenerously with a thick herb-tomato sauce.   Packed in a micro-pore box with two garlic bread.
Grilled T-Bone Steak, P336.00
This very affordable steak is rich in flavor, cooked well-done without chars outside the flesh which retained that juicy meat inside.  It also came with fairly large serving of fries and buttered veggies.

All in all, it has been quite a pleasurable experience, the whole family enjoyed the dinner without saying, "Mommy sana nagluto ka na lang."  Our tummies enjoyed it, it seems that the we will be constantly bugging Quick Delivery for our fast meals from restaurants of our choice.   And the visit to Kape Pilato is now on sched.
