Discover the Flavor of Tex-Mex in SM MOA at Fiery Style

I could not forget the first time our family had Tex-Mex together and it was five years ago in Dumaguete. Imagine, we even have to travel all the way to Dumaguete to be able to try what is said to be authentic yet with a modern flair of Mexican dishes.

We loved that foodie experience and since then, we'd have this hankering for Tex-Mex or even some true-blue Mexican dish, from time to time.

Having said that I was extremely glad to have stumbled upon Fiery Style, a Tex-Mex restaurant in the newest food alley of SM North Wing area under MOA's IMAX.

Now, the family can indulge in one of the cuisines that we learned to love over the years.  And, it's just one jeepney ride away from us.

Was surprised on my first visit, entering from the door beside the building, as it was cozy, with a touch of elegance and not too flashy at all like typical Mexican joints.

But what I'm really excited about was their offerings of course.

What can I say with their menu, it's so vast, I could hardly find what I would order first.  Good enough that the staff were very knowledgeable of their offerings that our group were advised to order Fiery Nachos - a towering rainbow of nachos (your choice of potato or corn chips) and in between those crunchy savories are equally savory ingredients such as tomato salsa, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, shredded beef brisket and cheese sauce.

You all have to try the Terrific Tacos.  The name just says it all!  But, again, as extensive as the whole the menu is, you have choices of six different stuffings, above the shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream and cheese.

Another Tex-Mex fave is the Quesadilla.

My daughter refers to it as sandwiched pizza or pita (heck, it was her "bulol" stage when she said this).

Quesadilla actually translates to "little cheesy pastry" in Mexican Spanish, however, a corn or flour tortilla is commonly used, not really any type of pastry.  This is as versatile as the tacos, as you can also stuff it with whatever fancies you.  Choosing might be hard as you'd choose between seven varieties.

Above has Mexican Chili Beef and it was great!  Did I mention I also love the dips that comes with a platter.

How does Chimichanga sound to you? Crazy? Exactly!  That's why I and my kids love it.

A Chimichanga is like a burrito sans the rice. It's a rolled tortilla with all the meaty, cheesy good

What's good about Fiery is that you won't go wrong bringing your big family and group there.
With a lot of group packages, every meal can be a Tex-Mex feast.

They're called  THE GALLEON GRILLS, which comes in two sizes, Supremo which serves 2 to 3 and Ultimo for 4 to 5 people.

Wanting a seafood feast?  Baja Supremo (P 368) is a good choice, a platter of calamari, grilled shrimps, and fish skewers with creamy white sauce plus your choice of salsa.

Chicken and Rib Combo

BBQ Porky Pig Grill

Southwest Mixed Grill a meat-lovers platter.

Price for the platters ranges from P 485 to P 1088 for the Supremo while for the Ultimo is P 888 to   P 1,888.

Their beverages are not to be missed as well.  I love this glass of fresh minty mandarin juice.
