Who would have thought that an old building along Recto was made anew and given a hip and modern vibe?
What happened to be an apartment just a shell for a long time with nothing but a decaying facade and rubbles in an open lot. This building known as Laperal Apartments, built in 1946, had been a witness to the rise of the post-war era and the glorious days of Manila, alongside many famous buildings and movie houses in Azcarraga (now known as C.M. Recto Avenue) and Avenida streets.
