A Closer Look at City Garden Suites Manila

The city of Manila is distinctively a melting pot of culture, arts and business.  Carlos Celdran have even described it as "a city of extreme contrasts."   "It’s easy to see how it can become an intense personal experience. Manila can be chaotic and spiritual, dirty and divine, gritty and gorgeous all at once. If you don’t find beauty and poetry here, you will never find it anywhere," as Celdran wrote of it more.

Many prefer to spend a little while in this city before seriously delving in to business or backpacking off the outskirts of the city and one hotel suite stood out from the rest when it comes to nesting awhile.  The three-star accommodation of City Garden Suites Manila have been a definite choice to many tourists, both foreign and local.  For reasons such as its proximity within Manila's commercial and business establishments.  It's near the US and Japanese Embassies, World Trade Center, CCP Complex, Baywalk area, the historical area of Intramuros, the entertainment district of Malate, and only 15 minutes away from the airport.

I'm feeling a bit void inside my gut for not trying out a staycation here before the year 2014 ended, however let me share you what other great treats you'll have once you'll try it to yourself.

As you enter you will feel the relaxing state with a touch of busyness and as you get close into the concierge you will instantly notice a lighted artsy glass-panel wall. It may have signified the hotel's name, though it never really evoked a garden-feel.  It was my first time to visit and I was envisioning a lush green set up somewhere in the hotel, like a garden of a place in the midst of the chaotic city.  However, the place was still awesome.

Let me begin the tour with a brunch at Café Miranda, the hotel's restaurant and bar located at the left side from lobby.  The cafe opens up to a myriad of sumptuous local and international cuisine.

The classy interior does exudes comfort and that feeling of being home away from home.  Accordingly, neutral earth-toned colors and wooden fixtures emphasize the design which melded equally with the modern comfort technology given by surround sound system, LED TV, Cable TV
IDD/ NDD phone, Wi-Fi Internet connection, Electronic door lock and Electronic do-not-disturb and make-up-room signals.

The five different types of accommodation, namely, Superior, Deluxe, Premier, Junior Suite and Penthouse is scattered among the 142 rooms, all delivering the same  comfort and top-notched hotel service.   I am particularly aflutter for their Presidential Suite that's to be opened.

The room that my hubby really like is the Penthouse Suite which is very spacious and has that veranda perfect for a family gathering while watching over the famous Manila Bay sunset.

Other amenities of the said room kind are depicted in m photos below.

It has a mini kitchen for preparing meals.

A dining space which leads to the sliding door opening up to the lovely veranda.

A family entertainment room with ample sunlight coming in.

And yes the perfect intimate party space with a great view of the Manila sky scrape.

If your planning to stay here long, you can also check out their gym, so you also keep our body fit while you set out to discover more of Manila's vibrant lifestyle.

City Garden Manila also can cater for our needs for bigger spaces for events such as weddings and debuts.

If only we had known this hotel early on, we could have celebrated more precious memories here with our loved ones, also our brunch was a winner and the  conversation with Rico Orillo Jr., the hotels' Sales Development Officer was very productive, having to learn new things from each other.
