Aging can be daunting but when you take the time to care for yourself while taking care of the rest of the family, live a healthy mind, stay a humble soul, and keep your perspective aligned with what's true and good, aging can be a blessing.

I'll be a hypocrite if I deny that I'd still want to maintain my youthful physique and glow, but I have one too many excuses.  That is why I am so thankful to have met Dr. Anne Marie Montesa and her team at Montesa Aesthetic Center, as Dr. Anne herself has defied aging.

My Personal Experience

Like many others, I wish to be blessed with an aging clock that is set slower than the rest, as well.  Truth be told, I need a couple of this and that done on my face, to limit the signs of wrinkles, sagging skin and facial muscles plus panda eyes. 

I used to have regular facials but when I learned about Korean skincare at home, my derma clinic visits have become rare.  I do attest aesthetic centers offer more than what I could accomplish doing skin care at home (which I don't even do on a daily basis).  My visit to MMG Aesthetic Center last week made me realize that. 

I mean, how have I gone looking young (like 5 years have been lifted off my face) on my first visit?

Dedication, passion plus technology can actually help us look radiant as opposed to looking stressed.  However, it takes trust to leave your goals to someone who has been in the business of making people beautiful, well, at least that was what made me trust Dr. Anne.  According to Ms. Christine, one of the officials of the company, Dr. Anne was a good doctor, but she wanted to help more so she studied how to make people more beautiful.

I'm sure I'm not the only client/patient who could attest that their techniques were avant-garde!

They have managed to combine traditional and the most advanced technology in maintaining the skin, as with the machines they use in their centers for the specific treatments they offer mentioned above.

I have tried their European Ultra White Facial as suggested by Dr. Anne. I like how she made an assessment of my skin first and personally asked me what to target on my skin.  The treatment is composed of several procedures.  Starts with cleaning, and application of serums and moisturizers with facial massages. 

The personal touch was what I like the most, the lymphatic drainage in the face.   

Did you know that this type of massage helps remove toxins from the skin, then combatting dullness and leaving you with a more glowing, healthier-looking complexion? While it is true that lymph carries cellular waste (excess fluid), making our skin puffy and discolored. By physically manipulating the skin, you’re increasing blood flow, and that’s what creates that rosy or otherwise glowing look and combats dullness. 

If I remember it right, the facial massage was done twice and I slept through the second one, it was that relaxing.

They also used a thing-a-majig, with a tingling sensation on my eye bags, to treat it lessening the puffiness and darkening.

I woke up fully rejuvenated, and with skin glowing and firmer. But It didn't end there!

I wanted lifting on my smile area as well, but I don't want Botox or threading (as it was painful, so I have heard).  The best next thing, or maybe just the best, is Ulthera.  A cold laser therapy was applied on my jaw line, Dr. Anne herself did it and explained that certain ultrasonic lights penetrate such areas to target the production of collagen, which I needed the most.
