 I still could not imagine how guavas, durian and even the humble "aratelis" can enhance the flavor of the all-time favorite dessert, cheesecake.  Well you'll be surprised.  Chef Kevin Mize of Moderne Culinaire Academy is the brainiac behind these and to many other cheesecake flovors, which includes the famous Dark Beer Cheesecake.   If you are wondering where we can savor these, head on to Midnight Mercato at Mercato Centrale and check out FOODLAB.
Your visit at their booth will even get more exciting as they give out one dozen of their regular-sized cookies for only P200 and their minis for P100.  Freshly-made gourmet-quality cookies for that price.

If you have cookie jars lying empty around your house, well bring them at the food fair and fill them up as you pay only half of the value of the cookies that will fit your jar.   The cookies are worth P20 a piece, so if you will buy 20 pieces for your cookie jars you only will pay P200 instead of P400.
