Coffee Lovin' at Caffe Ti-amo

Ti amo is an Italian word for I love you.   Having said that Caffe Ti-amo definitely brings in love in their
cafe's atmosphere.  The place, in Greenbelt 4, is very welcoming, convenient and relaxing.  However, I found out that the idea was brought in by Jollibee Foods Corp., from Korea.  I'm now trying to link the word Ti-amo to any English translation if it has  something to do with the Korean language.   My husband and I went there wanting some java for "meryenda."   I came from a blogging seminar, conducted by Blog & Soul, at Asian Institute of Management which is just across the street, while he came from Market, Market to replace a product he bought.
My Tiramisu Caffelato, Iced Blended Cafe, just right to my taste, not too sweet, not to bitter.  The shaved ice really refreshed me from heat outside and well, it is also cheaper than the Philippine's famous "twinkle" coffee shop.  Hubby got his cappuccino, served with with "amore."
Four-cheese Savory Waffle, the perfect match to a sweet refreshing coffee treat.   Both me and hubby really loved this.  The outside is a but crunchy while the inside is soft but without the strong cheesy taste.   The whipped butter cream, slightly sweetened with a hint of vanilla and cream cheese is so desirable, we just couldn't get enough of this so we planned to go back and have more of this and the next time, gelato on the side!
Italian Gelatos, gorgeously lined up in a plethora of flavors.  If you would have a hard time choosing a flavor you can ask the staff to have samples of some flavors...(Wicked!)
Thanks to a blogger friend, Marga Manlapig of Sybaritic Diversions, for giving me the idea of trying out Caffe Ti-amo's coffee concoctions.  I still have to try their famous Affogato,  Black coffee over vanilla gelato and more of the waffles, of course with fruits and gelatos on top!
Perfect in capping the day at a  Free Seminar on Monetizing Your Blog...informative but not that useful for those who were blogging for business already.   But good thing resource persons from the digital enterprise were there to give personal points of views such as, Trixie E. of Nuffnang, Fitz Villafuerte, and Joy Reynaldo of Blogging Network.

  1. Love the cappuccino!

Another one of my favorite Italian coffees are the ones they call "caffé corretto" (corrected coffee). It means a coffee with "small adjustments". They add liquor. My favorite is the one with Baileys Cream Liquor.

As for the italian gelato, they once told me that there's a big difference between gelato and ice cream. Not so much with the taste but their difference lies on the kind of processing the dairy products undergo.

I'm not a food blogger, but perhaps, if you have the time, you can "enlighten" us on these things... hehehehe...
